Here is the Picovoli which I finished today. It is pretty fast and easy to knit. A challenge for me was to change the gauge; the pattern requires sport weight yarn and I used worsted weight: Fantasy Naturale in a pastel variegated. This sweater is knit from the top down and has no seams so you can try it on as you go. It was very interesting to knit. Changing gauges meant that I was sometimes using a calculator as I went; multiplying all the stitch requirements by .75. I am fairly happy with the fit. It is a very comfortable sweater as Fantasy Naturale is 100 % cotton.

Hi Everybody!

Thank you for visiting my new blog . I want to tell you a little about myself and what I plan to do here. I'm a Crafty Grandma living in Michigan, a retired public school teacher now privately tutoring English to Japanese ladies and businessmen living in my small midwestern town.
Things I love: spending time with my grandchildren, especially playing games or reading books; traveling with my husband of 41 years; taking long walks, sometimes with a friend and sometimes with my ipod; having lunch with friends, knitting and doing patchwork, reading books and enjoying my garden.
From time to time I'll share with you some of the things I'm doing. Drop by and see me.
